Wilderness Trail Family Reserve Straight Bourbon (Nashville Daily Spirits)

Beautiful nose, drinks well under it’s proof - vanilla, honey, fried pastry, a bit of pepper prickle and medium long finish. Will be purchasing a backup - maybe even a backup for that backup. If you’re in Nashville, do yourself a favor and buy a bottle while they’re still available. This barrel is exceptional.

Barrel no. 15E02-14. Warm caramel and buttery notes on the nose. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Vanilla and toasty oaky notes, light heat. She’s perfect. If I could get my hands on another bottle of this I would in an instant.

My favorite of the night in my blind taste test. Just all around great. Great finish. Great flavor. Enough burn to make it worthwhile.
