William Dalton Wheated Bourbon

Purchased 5/27/23 during our Louisville KBT trip. Got to try this at the liquor store. Pretty good, and thought Laurie might like it since it’s a wheater! First taste out of the bottle confirmed my previous thoughts. Very sweet on the nose, and a nice richness on the palate. Classic flavors, and a pleasant finish. May need to look into some of their other expressions!

Nose: Light maple, vanilla, and cinnamon Palate: Carries over from nose. Little heat on backend but great flavor with baking spices coming through Finish: Decent. Not long and not short. Very easy and balanced Definitely getting a backup bottle

Good dark roasted bourbon that has a malted undertone. Great aroma and flavor. Wish the finish were longer.
