I was fortunate to have a generous 2 oz pour up in Maine for $35. I saw it hiding on a restaurant shelf back in the corner and inquired on the price and goven will never own the bottle jumped on it. One of the best bourbons i have ever tasted. Very soft and none of the proof comes through. Traditional notes but much more elevated than you will find in most any other bourbons you pull off the shelf. Almost buttery or velvety on the texture which really pulls this up to a very high level. You just dont find the mouth feel and roundness in many other offerings. The bottle goes well north of $1,000 secondary … plum ridiculous, but if i ever found one at a decent price or on trade I would jump at the chance.

Definitely was enjoyable I would consider this good not great personally My threshold is over a 4.0 is something that I would buy At 4.25 I would buy multiples but not at the price that one traditionaly finds wlw at. This was $40 per ounce or $80 per 2 oz pour which compared to secondary is actually not bad as right now on secondary this bottle is going for 1500 to 1600 at $40 per oz comes out to $1000 per bottle No flaws But nothing that blew me away Drank at lower proof than almost 125 Retail is about 100 per bottle Nice to try the 2022 but hard to justify more than 1 pour at this price
Nose: cherry pie with the crust, a touch of tannic oak, wheat, and a touch of mint. Palate: chocolate cake, cherries, mint and a tannic oak thats pleasant. I get a touch of something “earthy” with the barrel. Finish: Long cherries, spice and oak. This is a fantastic pour. 94/100
Nose: sweet nose right off the bat, toffee or caramel followed by classic BT wheat recipe notes. Leathery on the back side. Palate: Briny, sweet fruit, oak, followed by spice. Overall: incredible. If you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to try this, don’t miss it.
10/10 Cinnamon, fruit, soft sweet This is Buffalo Trace and bourbon as a spirit at its very best. The balance between proof bite, wheat sweetness, age tannins, and buffalo trace fruitiness is perfection. This is a perfect whiskey.
Nose - Tomato? Savory meats, Oaky, Leathery, slight hints of sweetness but slight. Palate - Blasts of vanilla, cinnamon, peanut brittle, cinnamon and barrel spice. Finish -Finish is long and full of cinnamon. Incredible good
