About this bottle

Winter Run is the second release from California whiskey brand Wolves Whiskey, a brand launched by James Bond and Jon Buscemi. Once again, they sought out renowned master distiller Marko Karakasevic of Charbay Distillery in Mendocino County to produce Winter Run. The whiskey is a blend of four whiskeys. The first was distilled from a stout beer and aged in French oak for 8 years. The second was distilled from a pilsner beer and aged in new American oak for 5 years. Also included was a sourced rye, age not disclosed, along with a single malt which aged for 9 years in French oak. Wolves Winter Run is bottled at 104 proof and the only 1338 bottles are available.

Buddy shared this amazingness. Beautiful bottle. The detail of the bottle is beyond amazing. N(4):chocolate peanut. Oak. Tobacco. Dark berries. Musty scotch. P(5): soda feel right away. So cool. Tiny rye spice but no bitterness. Tobacco dryness and flavor. So unique. Flavors I can’t pull out. Hint of sweetness. F(4.25): hug. Oak on the back end and some time of dried berries on the back end. Would like it to be more bold.
