Wood Hat Double Wood pecan and oak

Woody smoke and alcohol on the nose. Astringent, sweet cereal, and woody all at the same time, with a little raw alcohol. Quick finish, odd aftertaste. Unique profile, but not sure the pecan helps. Gifted in 2016, and stayed in my closet for a long time so I tasted it over time. Did not grow on me.

Interesting but probably won’t seek out again. The pecan definitely strikes a unique note... not unpleasant, just hard to reconcile.
