Review #312 Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Dark amber. Nose: Dark fruit, caramel, and some sweet honey notes. Palate: Cinnamon, clove, and some oak tannins. Finish: Long length with medium heat. Splash: Clove and oak notes become more prominent. Overall: 9/10 - This is a nice boost to the standard Double Oaked expression. The depth of the nose and palate are difficult to put into words. Despite the low(ish) proof, this is a delicious dram.
