Fantastic bourbon! Notes of caramel, orange zest followed by chocolate and toffee are present. Definitely a traditional Woodford with their mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley. Beautiful bottle art from former Braves pitcher and sports painter Richard Sullivan. Considering this year’s Run for the Roses has been pushed back due to COVID-19, this bottle is certain to be a collector’s item.

Very sweet nose with a lot of dessert fruit. Really nice Taste brings that same dessert flavor, brownie, caramel and chocolate covered cherries Finish is still sweet, but feels and tastes like pop rocks
Caramel brownie on the nose, heavy dessert. Really enjoyable taste - butterscotch, toffee, crisp, pops a bit in the roof of your mouth. This is a great bottle, loved trying this.
A more refined version. The toffee and vanilla is a bit more pronounced, the rye is a bit more present, and the back side is smoother. Definitely worth the extra few dollars
Still not huge on woodford but this is clearly older and more refined. Still a little hint of tannic bitter oak but has a nice vanilla and really solid finish for the proof
On the whole pretty similar to regular Woodford, but less sourdoughy and with an overall fruitier and more red winey twist in all respects.
