About this bottle
Released in 2011, its packaging came as a set that included this New Cask Rye along with an Aged Cask Rye in 375ml bottles. Both expressions are based on the same (and unusual) 100% rye recipe, but as the name implies, this one has been aged in a "new cask" (ie, new, charred American oak barrels). It's bottled at 46.2% ABV.
