Woodford Reserve Toasted Oak Oat Grain is a limited edition release in the brand's Distillery Series. The bourbon begins life as fully matured Woodford Reserve Oat Grain Bourbon, which as the name suggests uses oats in the mash bill. That matured bourbon is then finished in new, heavily toasted oak barrels. Bottled at the brand's standard 90.4 proof, this is sold in 375ml sized bottles at the Woodford Reserve Distillery gift shop in Versailles, Kentucky and select Kentucky retailers for a limited time beginning June 2022.

NOSE Oak, char, cocoa, nutmeg, dark fruit, cinnamon, vanilla taffy, and a touch anise. Wow, quite nice PALATE Tannic oak, char, dry cocoa, dark fruit, cinnamon, vanilla cherry coke, oat. Dry, harsh, touch metallic, FINISH Medium -> Oak, char, cocoa and fruit.
