Woodinville Private Select Straight Bourbon (r/bourbon selection)

Strong complex bourbon, smokey with floral notes within. Slight sweetness, maybe some mixture of honey and light vanilla on the fore front. Spice from the beginning to the end is present, tiny grainish notes. The warmth coats your mouth and throat and lingers. I find myself sipping more slowly, savoring the complex taste. Definitely a fall and winter bourbon. Smell is smokey, spices, rye, and sweet.

Thanks Ryan! Bottle 44. Barrel 5819. Apple, oak, and rye in the nose. Very oaky flavor with black licorice, coconut, and a good amount of heat. This bottle started off unimpressive, but as I continued it really opened up and grew on me.
