On the nose there is a pleasent vanilla bean and apple pie. First sip has oak, leather, and char of a good typical bourbon. However the complexity of this first statement is way bette then expected. There are hints of pine nut, honey, and black pepper. Ice doesn’t change much and still offer same good tasting notes. I genuinely surprised how good this is for this being the frist batch from this new distillery. Try it if you can find it.
