World Whiskey Society Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Cognac Casks (Wheated Edition)

Intriguing nose with almond, apricot, sandalwood, vanilla and cinnamon. Up until i smelled this i wondered if it was a hoax. The palate is smooth and honeyed. Caramel, peach, almond, vanilla, oak. The cognac finish and wheat makes it feel southern. Delicious long fruity finish.

Disappointed with this whiskey. Sips like a much younger whiskey. The cognac finish helps smooth the rough edges a bit but also creates some unusual flavors. I would not buy agsin, especially at this price point.
