This limited edition release from Houston's Yellow Rose Distilling is a no-age statement bourbon whiskey which is finished in port wine barrels. It is bottled at 43% ABV and only 6000 bottles were released.

Nice amber color. The nose is caramel, toffee and banana. Taste is young with vanilla and cinnamon. Spice and mint. Long finish. A touch of sweet, chocolate and fruit from the port finish.
It’s very sweet up front. It somewhat reminds me of a sweet oatmeal raisin cookie with a Smokey finish. If you like a sweet bourbon this is a good get.
Very soft nose, first sip is warm and smooth, with a hint of fruitiness. Follow on sips were not as warm, but kept the smoothness.
Rich, oily, very sweet almost a raisin finish
