Carraway dominant on the nose with hints of pepper. Palate adds touches of melon and apple for me - not getting much of the orange suggested by the label. Fairly long but soft finish, though the sharpness of the carraway carries all the way through.

A real nice akvavit - very caraway dominant. Very smooth and soft feeling. Gave to a bunch of people who have never had akvavit before - which can be a bit polarizing- and they all liked it. Good value too
Toasted caraway seeds with a subtle orange citrus overlay. Savoury and pretty smooth for the ABV.
Heavy anise/caraway flavor with a orange rind finish. nice after a big meal
Strong Caraway taste. Not much else going on in terms of flavor.
Lots of caraway, makes a cocktail really interesting.
