Sweet caramel and burnt sugar on the nose, with subtle hints of fruit, and delicate enough to betray the heat. Light, clean body allows the heat through, though it adds some peppery notes to the predominant flavours of caramel, sugar and and vanilla. That said, banana and more of that mysterious fruit linger in the background. Long, sweet finish. Extremely pleasant to sip, but wouldn't be out of place in an old fashioned or with a splash of cola.

Nice sweet aroma. Sharp pretty strong spirit taste but still rather watery. (Disclaimer: After Corona I have limited smell and taste.)
The aroma level is quite low, soft all around taste, hints of caramel, hints of spices (pepper?).
Very soft on the nose, sweet evolves into smooth and gentle finish. Very very nice sipping rum.
Rich and sweet, but not cloying. refined. A special sipper if you can find it.
Not overly sweet. Nice spiced rum. dark colors. cuts nice with water
