Aguardente de Cana Velha Motinha comes from the city of Miravânia/MG. It is produced in an alembic and aged in an amburana. There are those who consider the Velha Motinha the only one endowed with the original quality, in whose good memory the "new" brand would have tried to hitch a ride. On the label, a friendly peasant woman in a flowery dress and childish appearance grinds sugarcane in the middle of a lawn, without even having a container to store the sugarcane. Notes of dried fruits, honey, present alcohol, sugarcane and wood sweetness, carpentry wood, medium/long finish. Source: Amburana website.
