About this bottle

Alessio Vermouth di Torino Rosso is made using Piedmont white wine as its base. In addition to grand and petite wormwood, there are 25 other roots, herbs, and spices used in its production. Alessio Piemontese is a pseudonym for Girolamo Ruscelli, a 16th century true Renaissance Man who in 1555 assembled a manual of ancient curative recipes. Some of these recipes may have been the basis for what we now know as vermouth. This brand is named in his honor.

Actually more bitter than Punt e mes. Very flavorful with Wormwood being forefront and center. I actually enjoy it on its own as its powerful flavor I feel would be dominant in a cocktail
