About this bottle

La Quintinye Vermouth Royal is a vermouth brand developed by oenologist and distiller Jean-Sebastien Robicquet. It is made using Pineau des Charentes, an aperitif wine made from grape must and cognac eaux-de vie. For the Rouge version, white wine and red Pineau des Charentes is used along with 28 botanicals. No artificial coloring is used. The brand is named after Jean-Baptiste de la Quintinye, the botanist to King Louis XIV who created the Kitchen Gardens at the Palace of Versailles.
