The Arcane is brand of rhum agricole-style rum owned by Ôdevie spirits, produced on the island of Mauritius, which is known for its abundant sugarcane production. Like its unaged counterpart, double distillation takes place on Mauritius close to the source in a pot still, then in Cognac in alembic stills. This rum is aged 18 months in French oak.

Un excellent rhum mauricien, au nez comme en bouche une dominante fruits à coques (noix, noisettes, amandes) remarquable et originale. Seul point négatif, une attaque un peu sucrée à mon goût, mais à avoir dans sa cave absolument !
Smooth with notes of coffee, vanilla and pepper. Lingers with wood and flowers on thr finish. Very nice sipping rum!
Sweet rum very tasty that fills the mouth of fruit notes. Although I prefer drier rums, it's a good syrup.
