Atticus Jones is a straight rye whiskey from The Family Jones Distillery. This is the first straight whiskey the distillery has produced entirely in-house, and is made from all Colorado grains, with a mash bill of 75% rye, 15% corn and 10% malted barley. The rye was aged for a minimum of two years in full-size char #3 Cooper's Select American oak and is bottled at 94 proof.

Notes of apple fruit on the nose with a hint of charcoal. Spicy cinnamon and vanilla on the palette. Slightly oaky, too, but not in a mature or enjoyable way, but not off-putting either. A decent pour, if not entirely refined.
Smooth with a clean finish. Great bottle
