The nose is inviting, soft spice wafting over cane sugar cola and pancake syrup, plus just a hint of ether that settles halfway between ripe banana and nail polish remover. Given time to breathe, a little honeydew and vanilla caramel can be coaxed out. On the tongue the entry is spicy, hot, and sweet, with cinnamon, pepper, and allspice taking the lead on a wave of thin molasses. Once the heat subsides I get a drop of citrus pith and some amaretto. Thin bodied, yet velvety smooth like satin sheets. Legs form quickly but drop slowly in a decent ring of fat teardrops. The finish is on the short side but pleasant, with notes of dried tropical fruit, papaya, pomelo, and pineapple, as well as hints of oak and smoke. Nose: 7 Taste: 8 Body: 6 Finish: 7

Although this is supposedly a rebranded Bacardi, Oakheart, the two couldn’t feel more different—perhaps because my Oakheart sample came from an older, previously opened bottle, while the Spiced was from a new one. The aroma is reminiscent of red wine, with a brown sugar after-scent. It has a surprisingly thick mouthfeel for the price. Neat, it offers notes of honey and toasted marshmallow, though a slight burn remains. When mixed with cola, it tastes like a vanilla and honey-forward additive.
Its a decent spiced rum its taste is very different to something like captain morgans, its not a bad taste but its slightly artifical and perosnally when i had it i thought it had an artificial cherry flavour. It tasted cheap but was still nice but not unbearable. Overall i would have it again as it was smooth and sweet, the aftertaste was a bit bitter but not that much.
Bacardi Spiced Rum has a clear, amber appearance. The aroma is of oaky can syrup. The flavor is of spiced, oaky, pancake/waffle syrup. Bacardi Spiced Rum has a medium body, and a somewhat short finish. RJT
Super sweet. Love the vanilla, it’s almost like caramel. If you don’t have a sweet tooth, don’t drink this.:)
Not a sipping rum for me it’s okay with coke but not the best! it’s just okay!
