if you enjoy Bourbon County Stout, the stout flavor from the barrels really comes through. Last year was Bourbon County Stout’s 30th anniversary. Thry released seven different beers. • 2022 BOURBON COUNTY BRAND STOUT • 2022 BOURBON COUNTY BRAND COFFEE STOUT • 2022 BOURBON COUNTY BRAND BISCOTTI STOUT • 2022 BOURBON COUNTY BRAND SIR ISAAC'S STOUT • 2022 PROPRIETOR'S BOURBON COUNTY BRAND STOUT • 2022 BOURBON COUNTY BRAND TWO-YEAR BARLEYWINE RESERVE • 2022 BOURBON COUNTY BRAND 30TH ANNIVERSARY RESERVE STOUT I wonder if this whiskey was finished in a blend of the 2022 releases, or if it was only in one type. I have not seen any answers to this question yet, but it would be cool to know! I really enjoyed it, and it’s my first expensive bottle I have purchased. I plan on sipping some of it every fall once the new stouts are released!

Received a blind sample from a friend. Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Caramel, vanilla, fruit. Palate: Clove, baking spice, some mild cinnamon. Finish: Long length, medium heat. Splash: A bit of oak tannins appear. Overall: 8/10 - This is another bourbon with classic notes and a long finish. It's well above average, likely high in proof and age, but doesn't really stand out in any particular way.
First thought it was ok but as i come back to this. Ittle it has the most fantastic chocolate nose and taste. Very prevalent but not overwhelming. I good proof point as well. This goose island bourbon is better than the beer aged in bourbon barrels.
Most chocolatey whiskey I’ve tasted. Stout barrel really came through. Good pour if that’s your flavor profile.
Nose: chocolate twizzlers Palette: malty marshmallow, reminds me of something. Ok profile
Wow! Exceeds expectations. Pretty hot. Molasses from the BCBS. Good vanilla and honey
