This is the second collaboration for Bardstown Bourbon Co. and Calistoga-based winemaker Phifer Pavitt. The bottling begins with a 10 year-old Tennessee straight bourbon. It is then finished in Phifer Pavitt cabernet sauvignon barrels for 18 months. It's bottled at 100 proof and was released in December 2020.

Delicious and strong flavor. Great as a nightcap. Very tart with grapes and oak forward, Very tannic and dry mouthfeel almost reminiscent of a port. My palate preferred the Prisoner.
Great balance and CASK STRENGTH at 100 proof per the bottle go figure..... I’m liking it as much as others rated at 92 vs 87.
