People say they don't like the Dickel in it, but it doesn't bother me whatsoever. If I blinded this, I would have said the front/mid palate reminded me of a nice 9 year Russell's Single Barrel pick from CN-F that I have. But I would say the finish is quite different then the Russells, not unpleasant, but different. I'm giving it a 4.25, becuase I really enjoy it. But I'm knocking down 0.25 star becuase of the price point. I paid $120 for this, but despite the price, it's still very good. But if it came in around $80, it would be a buy all day for me, and I would give it a 4.5. For reference, here is the blend: - 35% Georgia 8 Year - 31% Kentucky 12 Year - 19% Tennessee 17 Year - 15% Ontario 12 Year

Vanilla and dark cherry. Smooth and enjoyable, sips lower than its proof. Tasty, but probably not worth what Bardstown is charging.
Very solid, but does not justify the high price point. Not in the same league as Disco #6 or other great earlier releases.
brown sugar and a smoke/char profile with a refined alcohol burn. Toasted marshmallows, red fruits, and a hint of honey
Good. Liked the #8 more. Grandad’s Bourbon. Would pass at $150/bottle.
Enjoyed this one a lot. Bit of cinnamon, good burn, nice finish. Tasty
