Spicy and tart is how I would describe this, with some fruity taste (similar to orange) on the finish. Not particularly sweet like I would say a brandy should be.

About this bottle
Bentwing Brandy is a release from Hangar 1 which is based in Alameda, California. The brandy itself is a blend of both French and California brandies, the latter of which is made from grape grown in Northern California. After blending, the brandy is finished in charred whiskey barrels. This is the first non-vodka offering from Hangar 1. The brandy's name is after the Bentwing Bird: gull wing aircrafts used during WWII.
