About this bottle
Founded in 2007 in Sheffield, Massachusetts, Berkshire Mountain's spirits are made using corn from a farm just a couple miles from the stillhouse with the remaining grains sourced elsewhere in New England. Their bourbon is made from a mash of 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley then triple-distilled in a pot still.

Straightforward, uncomplicated and incredibly pleasant. Thick legs in the glass. Fruity nose. Sweet and smooth mouthfeel. Tastes of caramel, vanilla, green apple, and a cinnamon finish.
Not bad for a Mass bourbon. Tastes a bit young, got some off flavors when I had it neat but the flavors were a nice pleasant sweet corn dominant flavor when I had it with ice
Very oaky; dull rye spice; missing any sweetness; very light nose; not developed or complex; very mellow; all New England sourced grains with local farm corn.
Smells sweet of toffee. Flavor follows the same with a bit of creamy carmel on the pallet. Quick finish with a light spice that goes down too well. 1 rock
easy drinking and mellow. triple distilled, reminds me of an Irish whisky. They are from where I grew up, decent stuff, I'll support em!
