Nose: walnuts and macadamia nuts, raisins, you can feel the grain that affects it in a very delicate way. Palate: pleasantly oily, delicate, macadamia nuts, corn, barley, very light smoke in the background: it reminds me a little of JW's Blue Label, although less good than the latter. Final: short, but extremely balanced. I have always been an admirer of great blended whiskies. Nothing to say, an excellent and pleasant blended, to drink at any time of day or night. Nose: Summer fruit, honey, milk chocolate Palate: Sweet, vanilla, cream, oak, summer berries, honey, icing sugar Finish: Medium long finish. Sherry, dried fruit, summer berries, leathery and creamy. Sweet, fruity and vibrant. For a 21-year-old, this has a youthfulness that is unexpected and hugely welcomed! Berries and cream on the palate, leather and sherry on the finish. Lovely!
2020 advent The Perspective Series 21 YO: 8. Smells of sherries fruits Tastes of vanilla oak and fruit. Finish same with hints of sherry.
First sip, meh, then it opens up with dark fruits, cherry and old style whisky in the background. Nice but not incredible. Should finish
Notes of being tucked in to a warm, comfortable bed by your mother after a fantastic homemade southern dinner.
Oily vanilla oak and sherry lands flat. Left with smokiness that also fades too quickly
