Rich and dark, an interesting aroma. There are definitely notes I can't place. Stout flavors and dark medicinal flavors on the tongue. I also get nuts, maybe walnuts. It's rich and strong, and excellent combination to it's dark flavors. Excellent.

Given to me by a good friend. Great bourbon, spicy, oak, dark chocolate, coffee, some toffee. Good depth leading to long lasting flavor. Unlikely to ever have again but great while it lasts.
Unique and interesting. As a fan of Black Butte Porter I get a lot of similar notes. Nose a bit stringent. Clear chocolate notes with some coffee. Seems best with an ice cube in my opinion.
It’s solid but didn’t impress me. Has a porter flavor that some people really like. Lots of earthy notes. The sherry finished version is the best, the port finish is not so great.
Get a bit of cinnamon and fig maybe? Definitely getting some chocolate and coffee. The Port and Sherry finishes are a bit too sweet and overpowering of the finishing barrels.
It's different in a good way! Tastes of dark chocolate and coffee with a delightful finish. Age isn't everything!
