From the distiller: proofed at 92 (46% alcohol by volume) this aged American whiskey presents with a complex caramel and spiciness on the nose. It presents with a creamy mouthfeel and mild smoke on the palate. Bookended with mint, eucalyptus, and crisp spice, a warm and smooth chocolate malt middle balances the complexity of this whiskey to appeal to both the Scotch whisky and American whiskey palates.
About this bottle
Tualatin Valley Distilling pays homage to both Scotch whisky and the roots of American whiskey with Fifty/Fifty. The name denotes the even split of the mash bill between malted barley and rye. The barley is the same Pacific Northwest grown and malted grain used for their single malt. Aged for just seven months in small 5-gallon oak barrels. Please note the whiskey is sold in 375ml bottles and as of summer 2015, availability is limited to Oregon.

I really liked your whiskeys! Cool how the creators have such a passion for Oregon and incorporate natural Oregon flavours! :)
Tons of flavor without being overly peaty.
