It grew on me, but I was a bit disappointed. I think in general I'm not a fan of bourbons that have spent this much time in the wood. I've had the same reaction to a lot of the oprhan barrel releases. The finish is really surprisingly short as well. It's good, but I want to compare it to the baby version to see which I like better. My money would be on the younger.
Blade And Bow Bourbon 22 Year (2015 Release)
About this bottle
Blade and Bow Bourbon is named after the two parts of a skeleton key: the blade shaft and the ornate bow. Its name is a tribute to the five keys which hung at the Stitzel-Weller Distillery (1935-1992). Each key represents the five steps in creating a bourbon: grains, yeast, fermentation, distillation, and aging. This 22 year-old bourbon includes some of the last bourbon produced at the Stitzel-Weller Distillery before it closed in 1992.

Great nose, very sweet, with brown sugar, caramel. Almost smells like creme brulee. I could smell this for days. Palate is different than the nose: some floral notes, some baking spice, pepper, leather. Medium finish. 11/27/17
very smooth & easy to drink, leaves a warm feeling in your chest for awhile. Not particularly bold or flavourful, I was expecting more flavor for the price. But overall still very good.
Odd plastic aroma and finish. Green spruce tip in the flavor profile. Easy to drink, but why bother?? Overall, meh.
Never tried the 2018 new releases. But I LOVED the 2017 release so much....
Too strong for my taste I would rather drink the regular blade and bow
