Nose: White sugar, metallic artificial vanilla, and subtle corn. Kettle corn. Caramel. Subtle hits of oak and mint. Just a thread of char and smoke. Wafts of walking by the part of the produce aile the has the packs of various berries. Not terribly deep or complex, but well integrated otherwise. Palate: Kettle corn, caramel, buttery, very suble lemon. Oak, but with minimized tannin. Pound cake with vanilla icing. Maybe a little banana. Focuses on the mid-palate. Top-heavy, but not in a bad way. Light mouthfeel, though with semi decent oil. Finish: Vanilla, lemon oil, oak. Grape skins. Cream. Short length, but pleasant. Other notes: This isn't trying to be the most complex, deep, rich, intriguing experience. Instead, it's a phenomenally executed glass that wants to accompany your good time, instead of being the center of attention. If you like Irish, you'd dig this. Maybe not something I'd feel compelled to always have on hand, but worth a purchase if this is your style. Cheers!
About this bottle
Made from 80-90% corn, the spirit is distilled to 160-190 proof and aged for 11 years in used oak barrels. While it has a bourbon-ish base, it is not legally a bourbon because the product is not made to bourbon's legal standards — it doesn't use new, charred barrels and it exceeds proof limits at distillation.

What a strange pour. I really don't know what to do with this. It almost has an artificial, sweetened, mixed drink quality to the nose. This smells subtly like the flavored spirit version of flavored vodka, with berry bubble gum notes. Definite nail polish notes underneath, though. Palate: It reminds me of smarties candy. It doesn't drink hot, but it drinks fake and flavored. I know it isn't, but I wonder if that is the extra high corn content. All-in-all I don't hate this, but it reminds me a bit too much of a vodka drink. I really don't want more.
This is not bourbon. The flavor up front reminds me of a floral/light honey speyside scotch flavor. The finish gives me subtle bourbon notes of light barrel spice, vanilla, and caramel. This whiskey is smooth and sweet...very enjoyable. It would be a good introduction to whiskey for a beginner or a good unique change of pace for an experienced drinker. As long as you don't drink it right after tasting barrel proof bourbon, you should be able to appreciate the subtle flavors.
This is very good for what it is. Toasted almonds, cereal, and a medicinal overtone in the nose. Sweet warm marshmallows and nuts at the front. Very smooth transition. It has an American malt flavor but it's very high in corn per centage. I hit it with a bit of chilled distilled water and the fruit notes exploded. I don't know where they were hiding but they should be unleashed. Short sweet very smooth finish. I definitely suggest with a splash.
Nose - Sweet creamy vanilla hint of oak Taste - A creamy vanilla ice cream with some oaky and smooth tart, carmelized finish Buzz effect - Nice relaxed body floaty on the clouds Overall - Smooth, Sweet, Fruity and a hint of oak Fav for now Happy Drinking 😀🥃
Grainy, thin, alcohol forward. Bit of white wine up front, rubber / eraser in the body and finish. Expected more.
