About this bottle

Broker's Gin is produced outside of London, England. The base spirit is made from quadruple-distilled English wheat, and traditional botanicals are steeped in the spirit for 24 hours before a fifth distillation. Broker's Gin is certified Kosher. Note: The bottle received a bit of an update to the label in autumn 2021, but fret not — the bowler hat topper remains!

I finished my first bottle of the Gin and what a wonderful thing it is. I bought this at my local shop and it was everything that Tango, chumppunk, and BDanner and others have said about this. It is a very solid London Dry Gin with juniper notes and other spices. The citrus finish is great and that is what really sold me on this gin. It makes an amazing Martini and with decent dry vermouth like Dolin's or Noilly Prats at a 3 to 1 ratio. It also makes one of the best Vesper Martini's I have ever had and with the citrus notes, it makes an outstanding Aviation cocktail as well. At its current price point, it really is one of the best buys on the market and the bottle comes dressed up as well with the little bowler hat on the top. It is soft for a London Dry but it is also an outstanding Gin. You can't go wrong with this one.

Broker's London Dry Gin is characterized by a traditional, juniper-forward profile. The nose offers a straightforward blend of juniper, coriander, and baking spices.Upon entry, the taste is smooth with a neutral grain base. The palate showcases juniper and licorice. Finally, the finish leaves lingering notes of coriander and baking spices. While it is drinkable and mixable,it lacks memorability, especially considering its price range.

I was disappointed by this. I'd had it recommended to me by a friend. The nose was not bad. Juniper and rubbing alcohol. Most prominent on the tongue was the taste of rubbing alcohol however, with a vague juniper taste that almost made it worse in my opinion. It fell into the faint but present enough to not taste good category for me. Might be good in a gin and tonic, but I won't pay for it again to find out.

Juniper is dominant on the nose, supplemented by notes of lemon peel, coriander, angelica root, and violet. Oily mouthfeel. The palate too is very juniper-heavy, accented by more coriander as well as orange zest, nutmeg, and licorice. Finishes smooth and medium-long. Overall, a straightforward and unexciting gin – but a well-balanced one. Should do well in any gin-forward cocktail. 3.00/5.00 – Good (neat)

Make a drink with this, and you'll wish you were time traveling to 1800s with your bowler hat. I'd refer to this as a more neutral gin. Think aviation, but with a little more juniper. A solid choice for the price. Seriously, get your bowler, cane, and some suits to take with you on your journey through time.

všude píšou, jaky to má mega ocenění, ale je takový normal hodně jalovcový, trochu citrusový a teda na 47% i docela jemný, jen mi tam něco trochu nesedí na konci, možná i lehce taková alkoholová síla. Samotný nic moc, v GT normální.
