About this bottle

This blanco tequila is an unaged 100% agave sourced from the Highlands of Jalisco. As some winemakers have done, fermentation is done with classical music playing round the clock. Cazadores translates to “hunters” and helps to explain the stag’s head prominently displayed on the bottle.

ALCOHOLADVOCATE 3.0

72/100 L: Clear, transparent, fast large drops falling of a wobbly crest. N: Creamy, faint vanilla, orange, candied lemon & lime, floral, peppery, light smokiness, aromatic herbs, fresh cut grass. M: Sweet, light burn, creamy (vanilla, butter), vegetal, grapefruit, orange, lemon rind, light bitterness, white pears, persimmon, rich salty minerals, light acidity, floral, oily texture on a medium body. F: Medium finish lingering on fruits, minerals & spices. Good basic to Blanco sippers. Excellent as a mixer.

On the nose, there’s an unmistakable lemon note, and some sweet vanilla and bready notes. On the palate, the craziest thing happens - a wild black pepper note leaps out at you. It’s surprising, and also very loud, as you have to get past it to notice the agave and herbal notes, and the sweet finish. Overall, its a very interesting tequila, especially for its price. As a shot: 6.5/10

I live in Wixom Michigan and I am experiencing that your new dark label Jose Cuervo especial in the 750 ml bottle tastes awful as the pints taste good. I don't know what's going on but they do taste different and I don't like it If you could please look into that there might be something wrong with your distillery please let me know

Purchased this for mixing and it was excellent. Sampled some neat tonight to polish off the bottle. I didn’t enjoy it as much as some of the other reviewers. unnatural. I think detected some herbal notes but no lime. I didn’t find it refreshing. Mainly peppery and hot. Perhaps I simply don’t like blanco tequila.

Gator Epp 2.5

A candied, artificial vanilla sweetness on the nose, along with white pepper, lime zest, and agave. On the palate, more pepper and vanilla, plus coriander and clove. Weighty, round mouthfeel. Medium-length finish, with some noticeable, but short-lived, harshness. 2.50/5.00 – Acceptable (neat)

Tasting neat. Whew..the aroma has a sweet rubber, plastic herbal note that's all unnatural. Taste is nutra-sweet, dry, vegetal, herbal, fruity, vanilla, and peppery, but again very artificial. If you love things like whipped cream or fruity cereal themed vodka, you'll love this.
