Marko Karakasevic, Charbay's 13th generation master distiller, distilled this whiskey from bottle-ready Bear Republic Brewery's Racer 5 IPA beer. $10,000 dollars will be donated to CA fire relief in relation to this lot (as stated by the special gold sticker on label). The fifth in the R5 series, Charbay started distilling whiskey from bottle-ready beer in 1999.
