There’s an immediate and ever present fruit montage on the nose and on the palate. Predominantly apricot and plum. This is layered with the delicate aromatics of a fine Creme Brûlée. There’s a distinct oakiness here that is not at all tanic. Midway through to the finish the dominant flavors shift to nuts and sweet creme—balanced by a light, almost dry character toward the finish. The experience from first whiff to the moment it dissipates on the tongue is wholly pleasant throughout, as the fruit reappears accompanied by winter spices.

Nose of raisin, grape, orange peel, oak, char, caramel, crème brûlée. Deliciously sweet taste; dessert-like but not too sweet. Caramel, vanilla, grape, oak. Soft finish. Incredibly smooth.
