This smells woody and a little astringent with a tad of alcohol. The flavor is rich and robust with a rounded element to it. The are beautiful apricot blossoms. The cask shows through nicely The finish is lovely. I love the dryness. It reminds me of a sweeter and less complex Glenfarclas 25. The coffee elements are very nice and the fruit is nicely balanced. The finish is delightful and so are the flavors. The depth is superior to that of Pasquinet XO 25. A true delight.

Smells of fruits and rounded sweets. Apricot hints. Sole wooden smells after maturing. Very plesant but anonymous taste. Burnt wood in the aftertaste. Some spirit. Matures alot and is much better after an hour with air. Good, but maybe not worth the price

Looneyhead 4.3

Nose of grape skins, honeydew melon, oak, berries, toast, vanilla and apple. On the palate toasty and rich, oak, vanilla, a touch of pepper, spiced apples, berries, caramel and grape must. Long, rich, spicy finish.

Hmm nice drop. Definitely confirmed my preference for Cognac over Armagnac. It has the oak, without going over board a lovely rich xmas pudding like fruitiness. Sweetness, no excessive bitterness.

Exquisite cognac with notes of vanilla, prunes, sultanas, apricots, almonds, jasmine, honey, milk chocolate, quince, butterscotch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown butter cake

Re-tasting: halfway through the bottle. Extreme silky, best spriit i've ever tasted (thus far). (beats the Delamain Vesper, marginally)
