About this bottle

Maison Tessendier exclusively uses ugni blanc grapes harvested from the four best crus in France: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. While other expressions in the brand's lineup feature eaux-de-vie from one to three growing regions, their Cognac Park XO Traditional Reserve uses eaux-de-vie from all four, each double-distilled in Charentais copper pot-stills. Aged for 20 to 25 years, new medium-toasted French Limousin oak casks were used during the first year of aging, followed by a secondary maturation in older casks. After blending, it is bottled at 40% ABV.

jdriip 3.3

4th of 6 in a sample pack of Park Cognac. This XO is supposedly made with a blend of 20 to 25 year old brandies, Starts out with strong oak on the nose, there's some faint cocoa and prune notes, supple vanilla and black tea on the palate, the finish seamed a little short and bland. Quite disappointing after tasting the vsop and borderies.

olbakk 4.0

Smells og vanilla and caramell. Taste of vanilla, mild and easy on the tounge. Fine aftertaste with oak. A good cognac

worldwhiskies95 5.0

World class cognac. Harsh nose at first then you get berries, pineapples, bananas, chocolate, and toffee.
