pineapple and caramel, dashes of vanilla and lighter spice. Later getting notes of light oak, bannana and roasted pecan. a little lighter than the 12, but still a really solid rum. price point makes it both a sipper and a mixer witth little remorse.

Located in the Cihuatán Valley of El Salvador, this rum brand was founded in 2004. Using a 100 year-old sugar mill, their rum is column-distilled from molasses and this Indigo bottling was aged for 8 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels.

Nose is sweet, with vanilla, caramel, oak, charcoal, cake. Sweet and mild palate; powdered sugar, vanilla, molasses, caramelized bananas.
Nose: sugar, raisins, boozy Palate: burnt sugar, hints of sweet fruits Finish: a bit dry, fades quickly
Sweet vanilla, oak and sugar cookies. Christmas in a glass. Mild with a short creamy cappucino finish.
A little sweet jut not too much.
Good for mixed drinks.
