Cognac isn’t my normal drink (I usually drink scotch or rum), but I found this very enjoyable. Nice and smooth, not got alcohol burn or any off putting flavors. Nice toffee and butterscotch with wood and some floral. I’m not entirety sure how cognac should taste but it was good.
About this bottle
Gaston Tessendier founded the Distillerie Tessendier estate in 1880 and today is led by brothers Jérôme and Lillian Tessendier, the fourth generation Master Cellars in charge. Their VS Carte Blanche has been produced in small batches to maintain character. It is comprised of brandies blended from the Fins Bois and Petite Champagne crus. The eaux-de-vie distilled from ugni blanc grapes are kept in new Limousin casks for 6 months, and then transferred to older casks for further aging, between 4 and 8 years. This is the youngest expression in the brand's lineup and is bottled at 40% ABV.

1st of 6 in a sample pack of Park Cognac. Off to a good start! Potpourri and cedar on the nose, silky palate with stone fruits, the medium finish starts spicy and slowly fades. As good as any other VS I have tried so far, with the exception of the Ciroc.
Very smooth and flavorful!!!
