I’m about a quarter into this bottle. This is a really nice cognac. Semisweet and mellow with marzipan, prunes, brown sugar, maple, caramel, chocolate, sweet spices, cinnamon, clove and candied nuts. Long spicy finish. A lot of really great notes. I’m still trying to unpack it all.

This is an excellent VSOP, especially on sale for $76 Canadian here in Ontario. At the regular price of $100, I would rate it 3.75. This is a wonderful value. It is not too sweet and is very smooth. It is well crafted and delicious.
Grape jelly and caramelized apricot nose. Thin and sweet. Canned fruit, sugar coated white grapes and caramel flakes. Mild, tannic finish. Easy drinking and simple. More of a passive pour than one to pick apart the flavors.
I like this better a little bit than Henny
