The fourth limited release in Hennessy's Master Blender's Selection series is the second from master blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde. He's said to have been inspired by winter in the great outdoors while creating this blend. The expression is made with eaux-de-vie distilled on a moderate level of lees, and aged for a minimum of five years in a combination of young and old French oak barrels. The cognac hit the market in March 2021.

Fresh and fruity with orange zest, oranges, orchard fruits, pleasant oak and mild spices on the nose and rich palate. Interestingly, some forest type notes develop late on the nose. The finish is medium length and a little spicy with citrus notes. A worthy addition to the Master Blender’s series.
