One of the best. A very interesting French-style brandy. If you can find it, buy it.
About this bottle
Germain-Robin Brandy is an American brand founded in 1982 which incorporates cognac techniques and California-grown grapes in its production. In 2017, the brand was acquired by E.J. Gallo Winery. This re-release of its XO expression was created with the help of the brand's co-founder Hubert Germain-Robin who worked alongside Gallo's master distiller David Warter. It is made primarily with California pinot noir grapes distilled in an alambic still. It aged in French Limousin oak and is bottled at 80 proof. Only 900 6-pack cases available for 2020.
