5th of 6 in a sample pack of Park Cognac. Park Cognac is back on track after the disappointing XO traditional. I found this to be an amazing cognac. There is some sasaparilla on the nose, as well as other complex earthy, herbal and spicy notes that I can't even begin to decipher. The entry on the palate is soft and round with more of the same notes as the nose. The finish is warming, long and satisfifying. This is worthy of a full bottle purchase.
About this bottle
Since 1880, Distillerie Tessendier & Fils has been producing cognac sold to other houses for use in blends. In the 1990s, Maison Tessendier and Dominic Park began collaborating on a new label that would allow the distillery to blend and bottle their own production. Maison Park was born and along with it, the elegant Cognac Park label. This Cigar Blend Vielle Fine Champagne Cognac is part of the brand's core line up. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is a blend of eaux-de-vie made from ugni blanc grapes composed of a minimum 60% Grande Champagne and 40% Petite Champagne.

An intense, Cognac by Distillerie Tessendier et Fils in Cognac, France aged for a minimum of 6 years. It has an aromatic birth with notes of honey, saffron, gingerbread, fresh cranberries & vanilla; while a rich & full life adds notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, black pepper & hazelnuts; that led to a long & balanced death. June 2020
To start, it's an absolutely gorgeous hazelnut color in glass. Vanilla and cardamom present firmly in the nose. A heavy dose of rancio and toasted nuts on the palate have me captivated.
This is outstanding. Pairs well with everything and is an impressive expression. Lots of depth. Fun finish. Well worth the cost.
Smooth but too syrupy and sweet.
Very nice, nuts and chocolate.
