- lemon, agave/mild smoke - Smoke, meats, mint - Strong flavor then abruptly stops and then a building smooth and tasty finish with the same flavor - Awesome progression of flavor and finish. I like the smoke but not as much the meaty flavor otherwise amazing
About this bottle
This Convite Mezcal bottling is a blend of espadin and wild madrecuishe agave harvested after aging for 8 and 13 years, respectively. It is made using artisanal practices which include a conical underground stone oven to cook the agave, a burro-drawn tahona stone to crush the agave, and natural fermentation in wooden vats. It is double distilled in a copper pot and bottled at 42% ABV.
