Neat. Aroma is dominated by the wood. Also some caramel, dark fruit, slight agave, citrus and minerals. Taste starts sweet with caramel, lots of char and oak, then agave, dark fruit, cinnamon and pepper. Finish is very long and dry with oak tannins, cinnamon, saccharine, black pepper The strong wood influence pushes the flavor profile close to bourbon. The agave plays a backseat on this juice. Bourbon drinkers would definitely enjoy this if they're looking to get into tequila.

I don’t think this bottle is as interesting as the reposado version. Tequila with a woody finish. Tad sweet. Spicy. Nice but not special.
Day 24 advent calendar. Tried neat. On the nose I get notes of wood, vanilla, caramel, pine. On the palate its smooth
