Sweet and syrupy, with a back note of oak and spice. There’s some apple and grapefruit up front, but it melts away into quite a sour note. It tastes young with the initial hit of un-matured alcohol, but overall it’s pleasant and easy to drink. This might be a pretty decent dram with a few more years to mature.
Nose is honey and the definite smell of young spirit Palate starts quite fresh with green apple and fresh oak before giving way to a bit of spice but again more young spirit Finish is short and wood and spice Unremarkable
Nose. Orange marmalade and brown sugar. Palate. Rich and fruity. Finish. Medium, warming.
Peach on the nose. Apricot on the palate. Long last finish with some warmth.
Quite good. Smooth, not super hot despite 50% ABV. Brown sugar.
