About this bottle
Brothers Jim and John Ewen founded Dark Matter Distillers in May 2011. The inspiration to create his own rum came to Jim after vacationing in the Dominican Republic. Four years later, the distillery released its first rum, which also happens to be the first (known) rum produced in Scotland. Using molasses as the base, this rum is bottled at 40% ABV.
