Davidson Tennessee Whiskey NOSE: Much better than the Bourbon. Traditional Tennessee Notes of Bananas Foster, Maple, Hazelnut, and some Char. A little of that youthful Corn I found in the 4 Grain is present, but not enough to spoil the overall experience. NEAT: Nice Coating Mouthfeel. Brown Sugar, Maple, Hazelnut, Light Oak Tannins, and a building TNHug. Banana and Oak Char coat and layer the palate. SPLASH: Turns the nose to all Maple & Brown Sugar. Palate gets a little Grainier with a Dry Cornbread note. The Char is amped up on the finish. VERDICT: So much better than the 4 Grain Bourbon, it's hard to believe they came from the same distillery. I really wanted to trash this one too because of the lack of response after contacting them months ago regarding the broken corks and getting zero response, but I can't in good conscience do that. But...just like the Bourbon, judges give an automatic quarter point deduction for broken corks and crappy customer service.

Tasting at a bar in a tumbler. The nose has brown sugar and dark fruit and some baking spices. The palate has brown sugar, a little corn, and rye and and some nice leather and cola. There is some ethanol on the backend. The finish is medium in length with a little bitterness on the back end. Overall, not bad. It hit some nice spots for me. Didn’t really like the ethanol part, but other than that it’s decent.

The nose on this starts out quite wonderful, especially when given time to open up. Notes of fresh berries, somethig musty but sweet, and a tad of honey. The palate brings a bit of spice, along with some smokey flavors with that underlying mustiness carrying through. The finish is fairly quick, but the spice lingers pleasantly. Overall, this is a decent craft pour, but not something i would purchase again.

Holy fruit bomb. Nose is mineraly corn and dried peach/apricot. New leather and a bit of plastic. Palate was a surprise...tons of fruity crazyness. Tropical, bright and nicely spiced. Very front palated, not a ton of linger on the finish, but a lot of dancing up front. Wasn't sure what to expect from this bottle, but it has furthered my infatuation with tennessee whiskies. Totally unexpected. Fun bottle.

This is a young whiskey. I even get that in the nose. On the nose, honey and fresh cut grass or hay, little bit of Oak. On the palate, a little bit of burn with honey, more oak more green flavor. As the whiskey opens up there is more green in the nose. Even though this is a young whiskey it's not off putting at all. Can't wait till the Distillery releases some older barrels.

Nose: apple (red apple), little ethanol, for some reason getting gingerbread. Good nose...more fruit than anything. Palette: cinnamon, light fruit, little heat on the front, the finish is medium This is an interesting whiskey. You can tell it’s on the younger side, but tasty. Little sharp due to the age, overall really good!
