Dodd's Gin

About this bottle

The London Distilling Company was founded in 2011 primarily as a whisky distillery, but in 2013, they released their first gin. It's named after engineer and entrepreneur Ralph Dodd, who in 1807 attempted to open a new gin distillery in London. Dodd's Gin is made with a botanical line-up that includes juniper, angelica, fresh lime peel, bay laurel, cardamom, red raspberry leaf, and London-made honey. Two stills are used during production: a traditional copper pot still and a vacuum still, which is used for distilling the more delicate botanicals. The two distillates are then blended and married for several weeks before being bottled at 49.9% ABV.
