Don Papa Rare Cask

I got this in the Philippines during my latest trip. I think that there is a stigma regarding Don Papa because of their standard 7 year old rum and so it has become cool to hate on the brand. I can't find any other way to explain the hate, especially regarding the sugar level when tests have showed that their rums have much less than some very famous and popular ones such as the Diplomatico. This one is light years ahead of their other offerings. It is smooth and it is not overly sweet. Give it a taste going in blind.
